Blog#3 REFLECTION for UNIT 1

 


                                                             REFLECTION UNIT 1


          After finishing off unit 1, I felt that it was a little bit too fast to wrap up with unit 1. All though I learn quite of things in this class. Learned  a lot of new term that I never heard off, such as "Culture shock", "Folk Culture", "High Culture", and more.  My Aha moment was learning different country culture in the classroom.  Also I definitely improved my writing skills by a little bit. At the end we did a final project for unit1 called "Cultural Identity Poster", making this poster we a challenge for me. In this poster I shared my culture to the class. Before I picked this course I didn't know anything about pop culture. After taking it for almost a month, I realized how fun it is in this course. I'm learning different types of culture from different people, I also made a lot of new friends while learning.  I'm super excited continuing this course, learn more knowledge about pop culture. "If it were a bumper sticker? " I would put "Stay Popping'!"

                                                            Reflection Unit 3 Movies      Semester is closing to the end, just a few more weeks. In unit 3, We got to dive into the movie world, exploring different vocabularies about movies and also how movies are made. What started as talking about movie words such as sequels and academy awards etc.  We also talked about whether actors in movies should make a lot of money.
